Collector's Item
Atari Handheld Computer- This classic is one of the fore-runners of the Palm. DOS only. Comes with memory card, AC Adapter and parallel adapter.
The Atari Portfolio was Atari's and the world's first palmtop computer. At it's heart, there is a 4mhz 80c88 microprocessor. The little computer has 128k of RAM, of which 80k can be used for ramdisk, and 256k of ROM for DOS 2.1. It runs on 3 AA batteries which can last several weeks on average. For storage, it uses battery-backed up RAM cards. Atari  made 32k, 64k, and 128k cards. The whole computer is about the size of a VHS video tape. To the right is a picture of the Portfolio with the parallel interface plugged into the expansion bus. Below that is a scan of a 32k memory card and 2 program cards. Each of the cards are about the size of a credit card.
Includes AC adaptor, file manager program card, parallel adapter and 64k memory card. 
New the computer cost $500. This unit, in excellent condition is priced at $150.00 USD. The cost for shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
